Delivering clean and reliable renewable energy to industries and communities

Shaping a Greener Future with Renewable Energy

Hindustan Power has been a pioneer in India’s renewable energy sector, developing mid- to large-scale solar projects across India and international markets. The company has played a key role in shaping the solar power sector through landmark projects, early adoption of technology and strong execution capabilities.

The company commissioned India’s first utility-scale solar power plant in 2010. The following year, it developed Asia’s first utility-scale solar PV project, setting another milestone in the region’s renewable energy sector. By 2013, it had become India’s largest solar power producer. Since then, Hindustan Power has expanded its presence across multiple states and delivered several large scale projects.

In recent years, Hindustan Power has significantly expanded its renewable energy portfolio through a series of solar and energy storage projects across India. Recently, the company secured major project awards from leading utilities and agencies including UPPCL, SECI, APDCL, SJVN and PSPCL.

The company continues to focus on integrated solar and battery energy storage solutions to enhance grid reliability, support renewable energy integration and accelerate India’s clean energy transition.
