Anand Deshpande

Anand Deshpande is the Chief Operating Officer & Plant Head at Hindustan Power. He brings over three decades of experience across public and private sector power companies, with an expertise in power generation, plant operations, commissioning and maintenance.

He has managed the complete lifecycle of power projects, from greenfield commissioning to long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M). His experience spans thermal, gas and renewable energy projects, with a track record across more than 6,000 MW of commissioned capacity.

Anand has led teams across complex power generation environments, with a strong focus on plant performance, operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. He has also driven the adoption of digital solutions and improved operational practices across power assets.
