Arman Puri

Director, Hindustan Power

alt

Arman Puri is a third-generation entrepreneur and Director at Hindustan Power, where he leads the company's expansion into emerging areas of the energy sector. His focus spans renewables, including compressed biogas (CBG), solar, and battery storage, alongside technology-led solutions that support the group's long-term growth.

He combines entrepreneurial instinct with disciplined execution, building and scaling innovation-led initiatives that align with where the industry is headed rather than where it has been.

Background

Arman holds a degree in Data Science and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. At 17, he built two solar applications, one for rooftop panel optimisation and another for day-ahead generation forecasting on grid-connected projects. Both were referred by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) to the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) for further development and commercialisation. He founded Mozart, a digital asset infrastructure company, which raised $3 million and was acquired in 2023. He subsequently joined venture capital firm Arc180, investing in software companies.
