Gopalji Mehrotra

Gopalji Mehrotra is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Hindustan Power. He leads the organisation’s people function, focusing on strengthening organisational capabilities and building an employee-first, future-ready talent framework.

He brings over three decades of human resources leadership experience across the FMCG, IT, pharmaceutical, automotive, oil, chemical and renewable energy sectors, having held global leadership roles in several leading national and multinational organisations.

Gopalji has extensive experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, cultural transformation and the development of global HR strategies across multiple geographies. He has worked across 21 countries and managed HR functions for a workforce of more than 30,000 employees.
