Background
Rajan played a key role in executing and operating India’s first IPP hydro plant - the 86 MW Malana 1 HEP. During his tenure at Hindustan Power, he initiated the development of two hydroelectric projects in the remote regions of Himachal Pradesh—400 MW Seli HEP and 120 MW Miyar HEP—achieving all clearances and land acquisitions within a record two years.
